TOKYO ENGLISH CHANNEL

As well as in class, different people learn English at different times and in different places, such as after school and at home. There are also a wide range of reasons for learning English, such as to become familiar with the language, to do training to convey things in English, to relearn the language, and to have experience of real English.

TOKYO ENGLISH CHANNEL provides an online English learning environment that enables any elementary, junior high, or high school student to learn anywhere and at any time in a way that suits their interests. Along with a wide range of content, it will also provide online events that allow students to travel the world with English, such as virtual overseas study.

“Welcome to Tokyo” - Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s own original English teaching material

It incorporates the unique features of Tokyo’s 62 municipalities, and is designed to promote understanding of the culture, history, and other aspects of Japan and Tokyo while improving ability to convey information in English.

An hour-long talk session where presenters active on the world stage have been invited to speak and students will be able to find hints to forge their own paths. An event held entirely in English to bring everyone together, held with presenters in our Tokyo studio and who are living overseas.
